GSU will send 14 track and field athletes to Athens Saturday, April 11 to compete mainly in the field events against Georgia, Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern.

LaPorscha Wells was a high school valedictorian and state champion in the shot put. At GSU, she has set a path to become a pharmacist, while setting school records in track and field.

Get to know graduate student Wande Brewer, a five-time All-Sun Belt winner, who holds the school record in the 200 meters. The Atlanta native got her undergraduate degree in business administration.
